Barycenter Methods in Riemannian Geometry (1 de 2)

We consider techniques based on the concept of the “center of gravity” for improving the regularity of maps between spaces. In some cases, these techniques yield far reaching results in the areas of dynamics, rigidity, geometric group theory and topology. An attempt will be made to give a flavoring of these results. The level of the material will be aimed at post-graduate students.
