This year, 2011, Luis Montejano will be 60 years old. In order to celebrate in the company of this noble mathematician, we will gather some of the most distinguished mathematicians doing research in areas related to Luis’ work...

The meeting will take place from the 3rd to the 7th of October in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, México.

This conference is the first large international conference in North-America on the mathematics lying at the intersection of convex geometry, topology, and combinatorics. Convex geometric and topological techniques are becoming a main tool in discrete mathematics, while, at the same time, topology and geometry have benefited from the study of key structures such as convex bodies, polytopes and polyhedra, lattices, tillings, simplicial complexes, geometric graphs, configuration spaces, etc., because they provide concrete objects where to apply general techniques. This meeting will bring together researchers from these topics to discuss recent advances and promote their co-operation.
