    Jornadas del seminario nacional de geometría algebraica.

    CIMAT - Guanajuato.

    Este evento es la celebración del segundo año de existencia del
    Seminario Nacional de Geometría Algebraica en línea.

    El evento consistirá de 3 charlas de investigación durante tres días consecutivos:
    12, 13 y 14 de octubre en el CIMAT - Guanajuato. Estas charlas estarán dirigidas a investigadores nacionales y estudiantes de posgrado. Habrá sesiones vespertinas de problemas y ejercicios.

    Lectures on enumerating moduli

  • 10:00 am, 12 octubre, Enumerating moduli I: Introduction and first examples.

    This lecture serves as an invitation to a landscape of enumerative problems. The overall meta-problem is to devise universal formulas which count the number of times the moduli of a particular object X arises in families. I will specialize attention to some first examples

    This lecture will focus on enumerating moduli in the specific and largely unexplored context of plane curves. The material is based in part on joint work with M. Lee and D. Tseng.

    This lecture will present (again partial) work in the beloved context of cubic surfaces. It is based on joint work with D. Tseng and A. Deopurkar.
