The fractional Serrin problem

The classical overdetermined problem, studied by Serrin, states that the torsion function to a smooth domain has a constant normal derivative if and only if the underlying domain is a ball. In this talk, I present a natural extension of this setting to the case where the Laplacian is replaced by the fractional Laplacian, a nonlocal operator. This leads to some new perspectives on this problem which only hold due the nonlocal nature of this operator. After a short introduction to the problem and the fractional Laplacian, I will give proof ideas to the main tools and give some extensions of the statement to more general nonlocal operators and right-hand sides.
