Controllability of some semilinear parabolic (S)PDEs.

Abstract: In this talk, we will present a review of some controllability results for deterministic and stochastic parabolic equations. In particular, we shall present a new controllability result for a stochastic parabolic equation with globally Lipschitz nonlinearities in the drift and the diffusion terms. For this, we propose a new twist on a classical strategy for controlling linear parabolic equations which allows us to circumvent the well-known lack of compactness embedding for the solution spaces arising in the study of controllability problems for stochastic PDEs.
